Have you ever wanted to help support others in their recovery while also helping to cultivate a healing environment for yourself as well?

Do you believe in the value of creating not just a safe space, but a brave space where individuals encourage each other to lean into the discomfort of healing, practice making changes, and challenge themselves to take steps towards growth?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you may have exactly what it takes to make a meaningful difference as a volunteer peer facilitator with Remix Recovery.

What You Receive in Training

  • Four hours of training
    • Remix Recovery model, group structure, and format
    • Basic group facilitation skills

  • Remix Recovery Peer Facilitator Certificate
    • Allows you to cover or facilitate a Remix Recovery group

  • Assistance in securing a group meeting space
    • At a location, day, and time that is convenient for you!
  • Remix Recovery Books and Marketing Supplies
    • At no cost to you if funding permits

  • Ongoing coaching and mentorship
    • To help you continue to learn and develop your skills
    • To effectively navigate complex or challenging issues that arise in the group

Other Information to Note

  • Remix Recovery Facilitators are ONLY certified to facilitate Remix Recovery support groups

  • We ask that you attend at least three group sessions before participating in facilitator training. This gives you the opportunity to experience the Remix Recovery model firsthand, determine whether facilitating feels like the right fit for you, and begin building meaningful connections within our community.
  • Remix Recovery groups are not therapy, they are peer-led support groups

  • Peer Facilitators are encouraged to participate in the group process just as any other member!
